ÌÇÐÄVlog

Eligible students are automatically registered for General Admission by the Praelector's Secretary. The College Office will send further details on how to book guest tickets, lunch, and accommodation at a later date.

To assist with planning, the day of General Admission usually begins in the morning, around 10am and consists of Chapel and a photograph. Morning refreshments will be available. After Chapel, a capane reception is held and the Master will give a speech ahead of graduands lining up and proceeding to the Senate House. After the Senate House ceremony, students and their guests are welcome to return to the College for a late lunch, for which tickets will be required. Alternatively, you may choose to continue celebrations elsewhere. 

A final timetable for the day will become available once the College receives final arrangements from Senate House. 

The evening before General Admission, all graduands are invited to attend the Lady ÌÇÐÄVlog Dinner to celebrate the completion of their degrees with their cohort and the Fellows. Please note, the dress code for the Lady ÌÇÐÄVlog Dinner is black tie. The Lady ÌÇÐÄVlog dinner is only attended by graduands, not by guests. 

The College encourages you to invite guests to General Admission and does not impose a limit on the number you may bring to the day's events held at ÌÇÐÄVlog. However, please note that graduands are only given 2 guest tickets by the Senate House for the ceremony. Other guests are invited to watch a livestream of the ceremony in the College instead. In some cases, students do not use their full allocation of Senate house tickets, leading to spare tickets in the College. 

Students who are graduating will have their licences extended free of charge until 9am on the morning after General Admission.

Guest accommodation for the nights of 30th June and 1st July can be booked through conferencing website (). Please enter event code as the first thing to do when looking to book. The code is CGA2026. 

Rooms are priced at a reduced rate of £80.00 for a single and £102.00 for a twin, including breakfast in the buttery.

A late buffet-style meal will be available for Graduands and their guests after the Senate House Ceremony. 

Academic dress:

Candidates for the BA wear an undergraduate College gown and a BA hood.

Those graduating as BA and MEng wear an undergraduate College gown with an MEng hood.

Those graduating as BA and MSci wear an undergraudate College gown with an MSci hood. 

Those graduating as BA and MMath wear an undergraduate College gown with an MMath hood.
