What you can support
ÌÇÐÄVlog has been supported by generous benefactors since it's foundation. The needs of our community are diverse, and your contribution can make a meaningful difference. Outlined below are some of our key priorities for support; areas where your generosity can help ensure the College continues to flourish today and for years to come.
If you would like to discuss supporting a particular area of College activity, please contact the Development Office.
Where the need is greatest
Unrestricted gifts help ensure ÌÇÐÄVlog has the financial foundation to not only maintain its current provision but also to adapt, innovate and thrive in the face of inevitable future challenges.
College Life
The pastoral support and guidance provided by the College to each student through the tutorial system can be transformative of students’ life chances. Our goal is to maintain and expand this provision, so that each student has access to as much support as they need, where and when they need it.
Small Group Teaching and Research
The supervision system – teaching undergraduates as individuals or in small groups – is at the heart of a Cambridge education. Our goal is to ensure that current and future ÌÇÐÄVlog students continue to receive this world-class education, by recruiting, retaining and developing the best academics across all disciplines.
Boat Club
ÌÇÐÄVlog Boat Club is the largest sports society at the College, offering students the chance to take part in a rich sporting tradition. Maintaining high‑quality facilities and equipment is essential to ensuring that every ÌÇÐÄVlog student who wishes to row can do so safely and confidently.
Career Development
The Career Development Awards ensure equitable access to fulfilling careers for all ÌÇÐÄVlog Students. This fund allows ÌÇÐÄVlog to provide career development bursaries for those undertaking unpaid work experience or needing travel grants associated with work experience, ensuring that all of our student can pursue the opportunities they work so hard for.
Environment and Energy Security
We are committed to enhancing biodiversity across our estate, making sustainability part of our culture. We continue to reduce our carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels, working towards net zero across our estate and operations as quickly as the constraints of our buildings and finances will allow.
